La decima Assemblea del CEC-WCC ha eletto otto nuovi presidenti.
Secondo lo Statuto del CEC-WCC il ruolo dei presidenti è quello di promuovere l’ecumenismo e interpretare il lavoro del CEC-WCC, specialmente nelle rispettive regioni.
Gli otto presidenti sono:
Africa: Reverenda Dr Mary AnnePlaatjies van Huffel, Uniting Reformed Church in Southern Africa
Asia: Reverenda Prof. Dr Sang Chang, Presbyterian Church in the Republic of Korea
Europe: Archbishop (Arcivescovo) Anders Wejryd, Church of Sweden
Latin America and Caribbean: Reverenda. Gloria Nohemy Ulloa Alvarado, Presbyterian Church in Colombia
North America: Bishop (Vescovo) Mark MacDonald, Anglican Church of Canada
Pacific: Reverenda. Dr Mele’ana Puloka, Free Wesleyan Church of Tonga
Eastern Orthodox: H.B. John X Patriarch of the Greek Orthodox Church of Antioch and All the East
Oriental Orthodox: H.H. Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians
L'assemblea ha eletto anche i membri del Comitato Centrale di cui fanno parte anche gli otto presidenti
